Forged Truth is proud to announce the publication of ‘Blight and Happiness’, David N. Martin’s ‘best of…’ collection of short stories. Spanning his thirty years as a published writer, these stories take us from the historical horrors of Ireland’s potato blight to the future of AI. The anthology features winners of the Words-with-Jam short story prize, as well as the regional sections of the Aurora Prize, the H.E. Bates Centennial Short Story Prize and a host of other prizes:

Forged Truth is currently on a mission to produce high-quality fiction without the gimmicks, fiction that relies on its content from authors whose voices still have something to say about the human condition. We have another exciting new publication ready to be published. ‘The Modern Type’, a sequel to ‘The Typewriterists’, which we think maybe David N. Martin’s masterpiece. We now think we have something of a track record emerging at Forged Truth. Our first publication was ‘The Typewriterists’ by David N. Martin, which won the Norman King Award for Fiction 2025. It is available on Amazon, so check that out too.
